Canutillo is 9-1 against Jefferson since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Canutillo Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Jefferson Silver Foxes at 7:30 p.m. Jefferson took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Canutillo, who comes in off a win.

Canutillo will bounce into Friday's match after beating Chapin, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Canutillo snuck past Chapin with a 36-32 win on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They fell 34-22 to El Paso.

Canutillo is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-14 record this season. As for Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 7-17.

Everything came up roses for Canutillo against Jefferson when the teams last played on January 14th, as the team secured a 44-12 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Canutillo since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
