Volleyball Recap: Spring-Ford Falls Short of Central York in the Playoffs

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Spring-Ford couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Central York Panthers on Saturday, falling 3-0.

Peter Szczerba paced Spring-Ford's offense, picking up 13 kills. Szczerba got some help from Luc Nguyen and his 28 assists. Finally, Zack Parker kept Spring-Ford's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Spring-Ford's loss dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Central York, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Spring-Ford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central York, they will square off against North Allegheny at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
