Marshall has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. After both having extra time off, they and the Texas Tigers will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Having struggled with six defeats in a row, Marshall finally turned things around against Tyler two weeks ago. Everything went their way against the Lions as they made off with a 3-0 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Mavericks have posted since September 3rd.
Marshall was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-23, 25-22.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Texas challenged Tyler on Friday. Texas blew past Tyler 3-0.
