It was a good run, but Everman unfortunately witnessed the end of their 13-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Joshua Owls by a score of 1-0. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Bulldogs couldn't quite close it out.

Everman's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 12-1 and their overall record down to 15-3. As for Joshua, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-7-3.

Looking ahead, Everman will be playing at home against Mansfield Summit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Everman's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Mansfield Summit's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Joshua, they will venture away from home to take on Burleson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Joshua's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
