Volleyball Recap: Trona Takes a Loss

Trona lost against Immanuel Christian back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tornadoes fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 3-2. The Tornadoes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Trona took Immanuel Christian into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-18, 25-11, 22-25, 16-14.

Trona's loss dropped their record down to 6-4-1. As for Immanuel Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-16 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Trona is set to take on their familiar foe Owens Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Immanuel Christian will square off against rival Baker at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
