The Western Christian Wolfpack will be home for the holidays to greet the Sergeant Bluff-Luton Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Western Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven contests -- so hopefully Sergeant Bluff-Luton likes a good challenge.
Western Christian pushed their score all the way to 70 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Dakota Valley 75-70. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Thursday (64), Western Christian still had to take the loss.
Sergeant Bluff-Luton can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They walked away with a 49-40 win over Estherville Lincoln Central. The victory was just what Sergeant Bluff-Luton needed coming off of a 71-49 loss in their prior game.
Western Christian's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-1. As for Sergeant Bluff-Luton, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.
Western Christian strolled past Sergeant Bluff-Luton when the teams last played back in December of 2022 by a score of 73-56. Will Western Christian repeat their success, or does Sergeant Bluff-Luton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
