Basketball Recap: Notre Dame's Loss Ends Nine-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Notre Dame was the 59-43 winner over Rock Hill when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Notre Dame Titans took a 47-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rock Hill Redmen on Monday. The game marked the Titans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Rock Hill got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Izaak Cox out in front who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Stephen Ison, who went 5 of 10 en route to 14 points.

Notre Dame's defeat ended a nine-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-2. As for Rock Hill, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4.

Notre Dame wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 54-17 victory against Clay on the 3rd. As for Rock Hill, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-55 loss against Portsmouth on the 2nd.
