Softball Recap: Montesano Bulldogs vs. Forks Spartans        
        
		
            
 Montesano put the finishing touches on their 11th blowout victory of the season  on Wednesday. They blew past the Forks Spartans 16-4. Winning may never get old, but Montesano sure is getting used to it with their tenth in a row.
  Grace Gooding looked comfortable as she  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate, Montesano got a  massive  performance out of  Carsyn Wintrip, who  went 3-for-4 with five  RBI, two  runs,  and a  triple.  Riley Timmons was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
 Montesano pushed their record up to 16-3 with that  victory, which was their seventh straight  at home. As for Forks, their loss  ended  a  five-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 12-4-1.
 Montesano has the luxury  of staying home for another  game and will welcome Aberdeen at 8:00  p.m.  on Friday. The pair have allowed few  runs on average, (Aberdeen: 3.1, Montesano: 3.5) so any  runs scored will be well earned. As for Forks, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cedar Park Christian at 5:00  p.m.  on May 20th.
