Keller won the last time they faced Timber Creek and things went their way on Friday too. The Indians were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Falcons. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Keller never let Timber Creek on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-22, 25-17.

Keller's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lauren Scheiden led the charge by getting 16 digs and four assists. Teagan Barnes was another key player, getting 12 assists and seven digs.

Despite the loss, Timber Creek had strong showings from Addison Wilcox, who had 14 digs and one assist, and Lillian Day, who had five digs and two aces. Wilcox has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more digs the last 11 times she's played. Kaylee Wilcox also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Keller's win bumped their record up to 23-4. As for Timber Creek, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-12 record this season.

Coincidentally, Keller and Timber Creek will both be playing V.R. Eaton the next time they take the court. The Falcons will head out to face the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Indians will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
