Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grossmont). They walked away with a 62-54 win over the El Cajon Valley Braves on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Foothillers as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Grossmont's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-18. As for El Cajon Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grossmont will host West Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Hills is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.9 points per game this season. El Cajon Valley has already played their next contest (against Valhalla), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
