Sparrows Point got themselves on the board against Chesapeake on Thursday, but Chesapeake never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Bay Hawks with a sharp 12-0 win. Considering the Pointers have won five games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Sparrows Point has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Chesapeake, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.

As of now, neither Sparrows Point nor the Bay Hawks have any future games scheduled.
