Littlestown scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 30-22 to the York Catholic Fighting Irish. The Thunderbolts were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Fighting Irish apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

York Catholic found their leader in sophomore Michael Staub, who rushed for 94 yards and one score, and also threw for 144 yards and a pair of TDs. The Fighting Irish also got help from Alex Kipple, who showed off his sure hands for 110 receiving yards.

Littlestown's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for York Catholic, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Littlestown wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 41-8 victory against York County Tech on the 20th. As for York Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 21-7 defeat against Hanover on the 19th.
