Sandy Spring Friends proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by 20) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Field Falcons, sneaking past 5-4. The Wildebeests haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Sandy Spring Friends saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Edelman, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Sandy Spring Friends' win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Sandy Spring Friends will challenge DC International at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Field, they will take on Sandy Spring Friends at 4:00 p.m. on March 11th.
