The Crossroad Academy Scorpions won the last time they faced the Jefferson County Tigers, and things went their way on Saturday too. Crossroad Academy claimed a resounding 69-19 win over Jefferson County on the road. That looming 69-19 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Crossroad Academy yet this season.

Crossroad Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jabari Boahen led the charge by scoring 15 points. That's the first time this season that Boahen scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Camari Hale, who scored 13 points.

Crossroad Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Jefferson County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5-1.

Crossroad Academy will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against King's Academy at 5:00 p.m. on December 20th. King's Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 799 points over their last ten matches. Jefferson County will be home for the holidays to greet Lafayette at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Lafayette focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Monday.
