Basketball Game Preview: Richland Raiders vs. Moore County Raiders

Richland has gone a perfect 4-0 against Moore County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Richland will face off against Moore County. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Saturday, Richland made easy work of Fayetteville and carried off a 64-39 win. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 23 points or more this season.

Moore County fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came out on top against Cornersville by a score of 63-50 on Saturday. The contest marked the Raiders' most dominant win of the season.

Richland is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.4 points. Moore County's victory bumped their record up to 5-14-1.

Everything came up roses for Richland against Moore County in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 63-33 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Richland since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
