Softball Recap: West Ridge Takes a Loss

West Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Dobyns-Bennett Indians. The Wolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 4-3.

West Ridge now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Dobyns-Bennett, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Ridge will square off against Daniel Boone at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dobyns-Bennett, they will welcome Science Hill at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hilltoppers will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight.
