Baseball Preview: Service Cougars vs. Colony Knights
The Service Cougars will take on the Colony Knights in a tournament on Thursday. Service is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Service is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Soldotna on Wednesday as they made off with a 15-7 win. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by seven runs or more this season.
Rilen Niclai was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Niclai was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Sebastian Fournier was incredible, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with four stolen bases and three runs. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kegan Lennox, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Colony might've scored the first runs two weeks ago, but it was South Anchorage who claimed the real prize. The Knights fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 3-2.
