Basketball Recap: Alcester-Hudson Comes Up Short

Alcester-Hudson lost against Gayville-Volin back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Alcester-Hudson Cubs took a 44-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gayville-Volin Raiders.

Alcester-Hudson's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Gayville-Volin, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alcester-Hudson is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Scotland/Menno at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Gayville-Volin, they will head out to challenge Andes Central/Dakota Christian at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
