Basketball Recap: Freeland Beats Frankenmuth for Their Sixth Straight Win

Freeland extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Tristan Comer. The Freeland Falcons simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Frankenmuth Eagles 73-42 thanks in part to Comer, who dropped a triple-double with 20 points, 11 rebounds, and ten blocks. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 46% in the last seven games he's played.

Wilson Huckeby was another key player, shooting 80% from the field to rack up 21 points. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.7% shooting accuracy.

Despite the loss, Frankenmuth still got an impressive performance from Ethan McNiel, who went 7-for-12 on his way to 19 points. The dominant performance gave McNiel a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Caden Sommerfield, who posted six points.

Freeland's victory bumped their record up to 21-3. As for Frankenmuth, their loss dropped their record down to 18-7.

Freeland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 69-49 win against Portland on the 6th. Frankenmuth does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
