Basketball Recap: GRACE Christian Wins Going Away Against Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Wake, GRACE Christian was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 54-35 win over the Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion. The Eagles pushed the score to 37-16 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lion cut but never quite recovered from.

Despite the defeat, Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill saw an underclassman step up: freshman Allie McIntosh posted 16 points. Ella Solle was another key player, putting up six points.

GRACE Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
