Basketball Game Preview: McClave Cardinals vs. Fleming Wildcats + How To Watch

McClave has gone a perfect 3-0 against Fleming recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. Having just played yesterday, the Cardinals will head out on the road to face off against the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

On Friday, McClave was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 59-54 to Yuma.

Despite their loss, McClave saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Tuff Kelley, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 16 boards, was perhaps the best of all. Kelley has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more blocks the last 16 times he's played. Jr. Mungaray was another key player, putting up eight points and eight rebounds.

Meanwhile, Fleming was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a hard 60-44 fall against Holyoke.

Fleming's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for McClave, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Everything came up roses for McClave against Fleming in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the squad secured an 84-42 victory. In that contest, the Cardinals amassed a halftime lead of 46-11, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Saturday.
