Volleyball Game Preview: Bellingham Blackhawks vs. Nipmuc Regional Warriors

Bellingham is 2-7 against Nipmuc Regional since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Blackhawks will venture away from home to square off against the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

On Wednesday, Bellingham got the win against Hopkinton by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blackhawks.

Bellingham's got stronger as the match went on, holding Hopkinton to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-16, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Nipmuc Regional made easy work of Leominster on Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Warriors have beaten the Blue Devils the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Blue Devils has come to flipping the script.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-20, 25-20.

Nipmuc Regional's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Bellingham, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Bellingham couldn't quite get it done against Nipmuc Regional in their previous matchup back in March as they fell 3-1. Can the Blackhawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
