Volleyball Recap: Rifle Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Rifle lost against Glenwood Springs back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bears lost 3-0 to the Demons. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Rifle was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Glenwood Springs' winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-13, 25-15.

Rifle's offense was headlined by Pearl Langstaff and Jasmin Abarca Holbrook, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Kensee Boyd and her four assists.

Emory Walter was nothing short of spectacular for Glenwood Springs: she had six digs and four aces. That's the most aces Walter has posted since back in August. Sierra Hageland also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Rifle's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Glenwood Springs, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1.
