Xavier Heck Tops All Others This Week

Starting off the list is Hazleton Area's Xavier Heck, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Heck rushed for 141 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. He is becoming a predictor of Hazleton Area's success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 3-1 (and 2-3 when he doesn't).

Sam Kelley's big game helped extend Dallas's winning streak to six on Friday. Kelley wasn't messing around, making 11 total tackles and snagged an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown. The match was his fourth straight with five or more total tackles dating back to last season.
