On Monday, Training Center Christian beat the Heartland Mustangs 65-57. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Training Center Christian.

Training Center Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Creed Lopez out in front who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds. Lopez also grabbed five steals, which is notable because Training Center Christian is undefeated when he posts at least five steals, but 1-2 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Dallas Doll, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 boards.

Training Center Christian's record is now 4-2. As for Heartland, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-4.

Training Center Christian will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Independence Home School at 6:30 p.m. As for Heartland, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 64-56 win against Christian Learning Center on the 17th.
