South Dade has gone 8-1-1 against Killian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The South Dade Buccaneers will be home for the holidays to greet the Killian Cougars at 3:30 p.m. The timing is sure in South Dade's favor as the team sits on six straight wins at home while Killian has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

South Dade's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They skirted past Miami Springs 1-0. Give the Buccaneers' defense some credit: that's the team's fifth straight shutout.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Damien Lucero, who's now up to five this season.

Meanwhile, Killian fell victim to Coral Park and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Rams an easy 3-0 win. One reason for the loss might be the Cougars' aggressive play style: Juan Aceituno and Aldo Zacchera were both handed yellow cards.

Killian's loss dropped their record down to 3-6-1. As for South Dade, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which somehow still isn't as good as their 10-1-3 record this season.

South Dade beat Killian by a goal in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, winning 2-1. Will South Dade repeat their success, or does Killian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
