Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. James Academy). They never let the Bishop Ward Cyclones get on the board and left with a 17-0 win on Monday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Thunder with their most commanding win of the season.

St. James Academy pushed their record up to 5-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Bishop Ward, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-2.

St. James Academy has already played their next contest (against Saint Thomas Aquinas), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Bishop Ward, they will welcome Kansas City Christian School on Thursday.
