Volleyball Recap: Antonian Prep's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Antonian Prep entered their tilt with Incarnate Word on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Shamrocks. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Apaches also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Antonian Prep's got stronger as the match went on, holding Incarnate Word to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20, 25-6.

Antonian Prep got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Addison Rivera out in front who had six aces and five digs. Those five digs gave Rivera a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Camilla Serna, who had 20 assists and four digs.

Antonian Prep's victory bumped their record up to 36-13. As for Incarnate Word, they dropped their record down to 15-21 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Antonian Prep will take on St. Michael's at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Incarnate Word, they will challenge Tivy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
