Volleyball Recap: Selinsgrove Comes Up Short

Selinsgrove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They came up short against the Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy WolfPack, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-8, 25-18.

Margaret Brackmann paced Selinsgrove's offense, picking up two kills. Brackmann got some help from Adriana Valentin and her five assists. Valentin also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Molly Hess, each putting up two.

Selinsgrove's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Selinsgrove has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Troy on the 18th. Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
