Basketball Recap: Madi Newlin's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Longview Christian over Prestonwood Christian North

Longview Christian and Prestonwood Christian North squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Longview Christian had to settle for second. They lost to Prestonwood Christian North at home by a 46-28 margin. Longview Christian was down 43-22 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Longview Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Madi Newlin, who posted eight points and seven rebounds.

Longview Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Prestonwood Christian North, they now have a winning record of 16-15.
