Volleyball Recap: Grace Lutheran Takes a Loss

After flying high against Taylor's Crossing on Tuesday, Grace Lutheran came back down to earth. The Royals fell just short of the Aberdeen Tigers by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The Royals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Grace Lutheran sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 22-25, 15-12.

The defeat snapped Grace Lutheran's winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 8-8 record. As for Aberdeen, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 2-12 record.

Coincidentally, Grace Lutheran and Aberdeen will both be playing Watersprings the next time they take the court. The Royals will head out to face Watersprings at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
