Basketball Recap: Hempfield Takes a Loss

Hempfield was the 52-41 winner over Dallastown when they last played one another back in January of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Hempfield Black Knights took a 63-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dallastown Wildcats on Thursday.

Hempfield dropped their record down to 3-12 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Dallastown, their record now sits at 10-7.

Hempfield and Dallastown could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. Hempfield will take on Penn Manor at 7:30 p.m. on Friday down 263 places (469 vs. 206). Meanwhile, Dallastown (ranked 260th) will meet Central York (ranked sixth) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
