Recap: Annapolis Panthers vs. Crofton
The Annapolis Panthers had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 53-38 victory over Crofton. That's another feather in the cap for Annapolis, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Mckenzie Fuller continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 29 points and 11 rebounds. Those 29 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Audrey Skinner, who scored seven points along with three steals.
Annapolis' victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Crofton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3.
Annapolis will head out on the road to face off against Glen Burnie at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crofton, they will play host again and welcome St. Mary's Ryken, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully St. Mary's Ryken focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Friday.
