Baseball Recap: John Paul II Comes Up Short

John Paul II fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Hilton Head Prep on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Dolphins by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dolphins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-3 last Wednesday.

John Paul II saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Archer Dewig, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

John Paul II's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Hilton Head Prep, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-2.

As of now, neither John Paul II nor the Dolphins have any future games scheduled.
