Basketball Recap: Southwest Christian School's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Southwest Christian School has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 56-50 heartbreaker at the hands of the Coram Deo Academy Lions. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-40 back in January.

Southwest Christian School's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 22-9. As for Coram Deo Academy, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 25-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southwest Christian School will take on Fort Worth Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Fort Worth Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Coram Deo Academy has already played their next match (against All S), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
