Recap: Oswego Indians vs. Southeast Lancers
The Oswego Indians lost against the Southeast Lancers back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Oswego took a 50-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Southeast. Oswego has not had much luck with Southeast recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Oswego's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Josh Hutchinson, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. Owen Jackson was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with two steals.
Oswego's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Southeast, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oswego will stay at home for another game and welcome Pleasanton at 7:30 p.m. on February 9th. Hopefully Pleasanton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Tuesday. As for Southeast, they and Uniontown will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Southeast has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
