Soccer Recap: Earlham Takes a Loss

Earlham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ballard Bombers. Earlham were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Ballard apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Earlham's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Ballard, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-5-2.

Looking ahead, Earlham will challenge Des Moines East at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ballard, they will head out on the road to face off against Carlisle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
