Basketball Recap: Westmark Takes a Loss

Westmark was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 57-18 loss at the hands of the Sequoyah School Gryphons. The game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Westmark now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Sequoyah School, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Westmark won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Beacon Hill at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Westmark is facing Beacon Hill at the right time seeing as Beacon Hill is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Sequoyah School, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Waverly at 6:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
