Basketball Recap: Louisa-Muscatine Drops Highest Score of Season Against Winfield-Mt. Union

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Louisa-Muscatine). They walked away with a 48-37 victory over the Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 43-36 back in December of 2024.

Louisa-Muscatine's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Winfield-Mt. Union, they dropped their record down to 2-11 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

Louisa-Muscatine will head out on the road to square off against Wapello at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Winfield-Mt. Union, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 37-22 loss against Holy Trinity Catholic on the 11th.
