Soccer Recap: Sandy Valley Takes a Loss

Sandy Valley lost against West Muskingum back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cardinals fell just short of the Tornadoes by a score of 1-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Sandy Valley haven't been shut out since back in September.

Sandy Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5-3. As for West Muskingum, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-5.

Sandy Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Muskingum, they will square off against St. Clairsville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. West Muskingum's defense better be ready for this one: St. Clairsville have averaged an impressive 4.1 goals per game this season.
