With a playoff win on the line, Ganesha rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-1 win over the La Canada Spartans. The Giants are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 17 straight.

Ganesha saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alvaro Moreno, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base. Tommy Giandomenico was another, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Ganesha's victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.7 runs over those games. As for La Canada, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 18-12 record.

Coming up, Ganesha will square off against Saugus at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The Giants' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Centurions have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season. La Canada does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
