Otto-Eldred moved up to 497 from 546 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Allegheny Mountain - Northern. The Terrors were able to move up by besting Port Allegany 12-0.
Smethport led the league in scoring this week after putting up 35 points on Cameron County. Adam Shunk threw for 74 yards and ran for 68 yards during the win.
Coudersport's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Ethan Hite threw for 157 yards and Coy Hoffman had 100 yards receiving. On the ground Hoffman chipped in 104 yards. Nevada Waterman helped Coudersport's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 57 yards.
Hite put up the best numbers through the air as the Falcons fell to Sheffield. Hite's favorite target this week was Hoffman, who caught 8 passes for 100 yards.
5-foot-10 quarterback Hite of Coudersport is the league leader in passing yards this season with 642. He has also thrown 9 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Cory Burr. The Port Allegany star has 21 catches for 385 yards.
The Hubbers are in first place, while the Gators are in fourth place.
Otto-Eldred made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 11,330 from 12,446. The improvement was largely due to a 12-0 victory over Port Allegany last week.
