The Sparta Spartans suffered their biggest defeat since December 8, 2023 on Tuesday. They suffered a tough 50-28 defeat at the hands of Holmen. Sparta has not had much luck with Holmen recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Sparta had strong showings from Elexa Jones, who scored 16 points along with five steals, and Corin Milne, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and three steals. Jones has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.
