Soccer Game Preview: Pymatuning Valley vs. Edgewood + How To Watch

The Pymatuning Valley Lakers will head out to face off against the Edgewood Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pymatuning Valley's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Pymatuning Valley managed to keep up with Bristol until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Lakers came up short against the Panthers, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Edgewood was able to grind out a solid victory over Jefferson Area on Tuesday, taking the game 3-1. Edgewood haven't had any issues with Jefferson Area recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Edgewood hit Jefferson Area with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Cole Billington, Garret Tracy, and Geno Measel.

Edgewood's victory bumped their record up to 8-3-4. As for Pymatuning Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10-3.

Pymatuning Valley suffered a grim 5-1 defeat to Edgewood in their previous matchup back in August of 2024. Can the Lakers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
