Softball Recap: Bellingham Takes a Loss

Bellingham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 13-0 to the Lynden Lions. The Bayhawks were not able to make up for their loss to the Lions from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Bellingham's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Lynden, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bellingham will face off against rival Oak Harbor at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lynden is set to square off against their familiar foe Mt. Baker at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
