Ava Hill leads a balanced attack to beat Varsity Opponent

Recap: Eno River Bobcats vs. Varsity Opponent

On Wednesday, Eno River didn't have too much trouble with the on the road as they won 30-13. Eno River pushed the score to 30-5 by the end of the third, a deficit the cut but never quite recovered from.

Eno River's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ava Hill led the charge by scoring four points along with four blocks and two steals. Hill is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Madison Hobbs was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six rebounds.

Eno River has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Varsity Opponent, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost 12 of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 109-396 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eno River will take on the Flying Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Varsity Opponent, they will head out on the road to face off against the Owls at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Wakefield Country Day is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home.
