Stevenson Posts Huge Game in 17-14 Loss

Starting off the list is Northglenn's Josiah'Ez Stevenson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Stevenson rushed for 163 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.6 yards per carry, and also picked up 87 receiving yards and a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 61 yards.

Stevenson and Northglenn will face off against Mountain Range at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last time Stevenson took on the Mustangs, he rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 44 receiving yards. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Kiewiet Came Up Big in Westminster's 28-15 Win

Mason Kiewiet put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 204 yards while picking up 11.3 yards per carry, and also threw for 175 yards and a touchdown while completing 76.9% of his passes.

Mountain Range's probably not too fond of Kiewiet given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Kiewiet saw the Mustangs), he threw for 344 yards and five touchdowns while completing 78.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 41 yards and a touchdown.

Overland Wins Third-Straight Thanks to Dejay Davenport

Overland picked up their third consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Dejay Davenport. Davenport was dynamite, picking up 193 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He is becoming a predictor of Overland's success: when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-4 when he doesn't).

The victory got Overland back to even at 4-4. Davenport and Overland will welcome Boulder at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Avante Hendrix Leads Overland over Lakewood

Avante Hendrix produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Overland to the win on Thursday. Hendrix picked up 93 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

On the year, Hendrix has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 47.9 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging six receiving yards per game.
