            With a playoff win on the line, Bloomfield rose to the challenge  on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Deming Wildcats, sneaking past  2-1. That's two games straight that the Bobcats have won by  just one  run.
 Blake Spencer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on six hits and racked up six Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in seven consecutive appearances.
