Baseball Recap: Faith Training Christian Academy vs. Christian Academy of Louisiana Crusaders
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Christian Home Educators Fellowship, Faith Training Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Christian Academy of Louisiana Crusaders by a score of 9-5.
Zane Lewis was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Lewis was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He also put up a hit, which was his first of the season.
In other batting news, Jace Johnson was incredible, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2. Those hits marked the first that he got this season. Another player making a difference was Nathan McDonald, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.
