Horton Made His Presence Known in Pinnacle's 62-14 Win

Starting off the list is Pinnacle's Wyatt Horton, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Horton threw for 271 yards and five touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes, and also rushed for 70 yards.

Unfortunately for O'Connor, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Horton. When Horton last faced the Eagles back in October of 2023, he threw for 252 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 33 yards and a touchdown.

On Friday, Centennial got the W thanks in part to Kainan Manna playing the best football he has all season. Manna threw for 186 yards and three touchdowns on only ten passes.

Chaparral had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Manna it was a similar story. When Manna last faced the Firebirds back in October of 2023, he threw for 230 yards and four touchdowns on only ten passes.

A Season-Best Performance from Gavin Gardner Leads Centennial over Chaparral

On Friday, Centennial got the W thanks in part to Gavin Gardner playing the best football he has all season. Gardner picked up 3.5 sacks, forced a fumble, and made four total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.

The second Liberty player making an appearance here is Hudson Dunn, and for good reason. He picked up two sacks and made five total tackles.
